The CCS is convenient for workers who are intermittently exposed to noisy areas; when earplugs are not in use the CCS helps prevent the loss of the hearing protector. The CCS feature also allows the corded earplugs to dual as a lanyard - a cord worn around the neck for carrying your protective eyewear.
